Bhutan

In February of 2017, I was fortunate to have been one of 20 students selected to participate in a service trip to Bhutan for 10 days. This service trip was in partnership with READ Bhutan, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Bhutanese communities establish library and resource centers to address education, economic and social needs. Bhutan is known to be the world's happiest country, and throughout the trip, I was able to see this happiness exhibited through the environment, culture, and people. My group and I traveled to three different cities (Thimphu, Haa & Paro), visited two READ centers, and created one unforgettable trip. I hope you enjoy the photos.
