Bali

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. The island is home to religious sites such as cliffside Uluwatu Temple. To the south, the beachside city of Kuta has lively bars, while Seminyak, Sanur and Nusa Dua are popular resort towns. For my high school senior year spring break trip, I was lucky enough to visit Bali to explore the city life! From the delicious food to the beautiful paintings on the wall, Bali is truly a hidden gem. It was a once in a lifetime trip, and a personal highlight was that I got to Scuba Dive alongside manta rays & schools of fish.
